Tongwei and China National Machinery Imp. & Exp. Corp. Signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement

Recently, Zhu Zhenmin, Executive Director and General Manager of China National Machinery Imp. & Exp. Corp. affiliated to GENERTEC, and his colleagues visited Tongwei. They were warmly received by Xie Yi, Chairman and CEO of Tongwei Co., Ltd., Qiu Xin, Global Modules Marketing General Manager of Commerce Department of Tongwei Co., Ltd., and Pang Sanfeng, Assistant to General Manager of TW Solar (Jintang) Co., Ltd, and held a discussion with the latter. During the the meeting, the two parties signed the framework agreement on annual procurement of 700MW Tongwei high-efficiency modules. According to the demand estimation under the current business conditions, the actual business volume between the two parties will be 1GW in 2023.

Mr. Zhu and his colleagues visited the high-efficiency cell production line at the Jintang Base of TW Solar and the Experience Center of Tongwei Group. They learned in detail the development history of Tongwei, highly praised the comprehensive strength, management model, intelligentization endeavor, brand influence and corporate cultural development of the Group, and expressed great confidence in the deep collaboration with Tongwei.

Both parties elaborated on the philosophy of cooperation at the discussion meeting. According to Mr. Zhu, China National Machinery Imp. & Exp. Corp., a China-invested enterprise that has been intensively engaged in overseas business for over 70 years, is deeply committed to international business that covers large scope, has adequate understanding of both Chinese and foreign cultures, has successful experience in working with multiple outstanding domestic enterprises, and is a pioneer in internationalization of Chinese enterprises. In the strategic cooperation relationship with Tongwei, China National Machinery Imp. & Exp. Corp. will make full use of its over forty years of business experience in Europe and its resource pool, focus on building the momentum, complementing each other's advantages and sharing the advantages, and share the experience of CMC Europe (CMC Europe Business Center) in building a 100MW solar power station in Kaposvár, Hungary, in order to establish the innovative all-round cooperation model for global distribution in the new energy industry in collaboration with Tongwei.
