In this year's Government Work Report, "Striving to modernize the industrial system and developing new quality productive forces at a faster pace" has been prioritized as one of the government's ten major tasks for 2024. Tongwei Group, as one of the core players and significant driving forces in the global new energy sector, persists in technological innovation as the driving force for development, forges new quality productive forces of energy, and facilitates the global green energy transition, thereby establishing itself as a representative enterprise in the global new energy sector.

With the advent of Industry 4.0, intelligent manufacturing has emerged as a key trend in the manufacturing industry. Tongwei, as a pioneer in this field, has actively propelled the development of intelligent manufacturing in the PV sector, from commissioning the world's first Industry 4.0 high-efficiency cell production line in 2017 to establishing the first 5G application base in the global PV sector in 2021. Nowadays, Tongwei has achieved intelligent manufacturing in high-purity crystalline silicon, high-efficiency cells, and high-efficiency modules, along with intelligent operations in terminal power stations. This has further facilitated the upgrading of the PV industry chain, improved production efficiency, reduced costs, and promoted green and sustainable development in the PV sector.

Tongwei has pioneered the exploration of "5G + Industrial Internet" and achieved digital park management and unmanned intelligent manufacturing in workshops through 5G + intelligent manufacturing solutions. The Group has taken the lead in realizing industrial digitization, production intelligence, and smart management. Compared with conventional production lines with similar capacity, Tongwei's 5G intelligent production line has reduced labor by about 62%, lowered energy consumption by about 30%, and improved production efficiency by 160%. While reducing energy consumption, it has also achieved cost reduction and efficiency enhancement, making it a benchmark project for global intelligent manufacturing.
