On June 11, the SNEC PV+ 17th (2024) International Photovoltaic Power Generation and Smart Energy Conference & Exhibition was officially opened. During the event, the "Global Solar Leaders" Award Ceremony was held, and Mr. Liu Hanyuan, Deputy to the NPC, Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tongwei Group, won the honorary title of "Global Solar Leaders". Dr. Xing Guoqiang, Chief PV Technology Officer of Tongwei Co., Ltd., received the award on behalf of Chairman Liu Hanyuan. The "Global Solar Leaders" is an award initiated by the Global Green Energy Industry Council, the Global Solar Council, the New Energy Industry Association Asia Pacific, and the Asia Photovoltaic Industry Association. It aims to honor the leaders who have made outstanding contributions to the development and technological progress of the PV sector in the critical period of the 20th anniversary of the PV sector when the sector is entering a year of high-quality and stable development. Meanwhile, the "PVBL Global Photovoltaic Brand Rankings (2024)" was officially launched by Photovoltaic Brand Lab and Century New Energy Network, and a grand award ceremony was held. Among the winners, Tongwei was granted multiple honors, including "World’s Top 100 Solar PV Brands", "Top Brand in the Global PV Sector", "Best Solar PV Brand Promotion Award", and "The Most Creative Enterprise in the Global Optical Storage Sector".
